Consumed is a short time-lapse video by Nicole Dextras of ice letters melting. Shot in Stanley Park looking back at the development of Coal Harbour in Vancouver. This was one of 4 outdoor ice text installations created for the Signs of Change exhibition at the Grunt Gallery. The site was located in a high pedestrian traffic area of the Seawall, where people could stop and chat with me but most of the time they just jogged by oblivious. The grey cloud cover turned stormy with heavy rain and wind by the end of the day. The log rolling in at the end was a bonus.
