The Maple tree is not only a symbol for longevity and money but the seeds are edible.
The blue Lupines at the bottom of the dress were found growing wild by the side of the highway.
Left in my yard during the hot summer the delicate Lupines shrivel and fall off but the seeds remain intact.
The Celosia flowers were scavenged from the florist’s rubbish bin; their deep magenta colour now faded.
As I do not have a car I found an alternative mode of transportation when I went to pick the maple tree seeds.
